Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical, exfoliating treatment helpful for those unhappy with acne scarring, sun damaged skin, age spots, freckles, stretch marks, fine lines, scars, and rough skin.

Treatment can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, back, elbows, and feet. With the Diamond Tome system, the diamond-tipped wand removes the outer layer of dead skin cells, leaving a smoother texture and promoting the growth of healthy new skin cells. During the treatment a stream of fine crystals are delivered across the face, which are then removed with damaged skin cells by a vacuum.

This helps accelerate the cellular turnover process leaving your skin feeling soft, fresh and with a healthy glow.

For best results, several treatments are recommended. Throughout your treatment program you will see noticeable improvements in your skin. We offer a package discount for microdemabrasion.

Chemical Peels

Exposure to the sun and the elements in combination with adverse living habits contribute to the apperance of our skin.

Chemical peels can help reverse acne scarring, sun damage, age spots, freckles, fine lines, rough skin, and uneven pigmentation into fresh smooth skin.

Chemical peels are topically applied acids that aid in the restoration and rejuvenation of the skin’s surface. They create a uniform and controlled shedding of several layers of the skin.

Depending on the nature and depth of the peel a significant number of layers can be exfoliated allowing new growth to be exposed. The peels are classified as superficial, medium, or deep.

Your skin type and the results you are aspiring to achieve will determine which class of peel is appropriate for you.

Photo Rejuvenation

Photo Rejuvenation is a series of Intense Pulsed Light Treatments that improve the appearance of Rosacea, flushing, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. An intense light is applied in a series of gentle pulses over the treatment area.

The light penetrates through the skin and is absorbed by the abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation. The heat from the light impairs the vessel or lesion causing the body’s natural healing process to begin. The lesion will darken then flake off or be absorbed by the body.

Photo Rejuvenation can also improve mild acne scars, reduce large pores, correct dark circles around the eyes, and reduce fine lines. The treatment is quick and requires no down time so you can resume your normal activities immediately.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a common problem associated with redness appearing across the face, mainly over the cheeks, chin, and nose. The redness can persist and become darker and is linked with the development of noticeable blood vessels.

A bumpy appearance can develop along with pimples if this condition is not treated. The skin on the face can become very irritated and burn. Rosacea is also associated with a very dry, rough appearance and skin may also thicken and swell. Individuals who are experiencing rosacea should seek treatment as the condition may worsen.

Immediate treatment usually consists of an oral medication along with a topical cream. In addition to PhotoRejuvenation, we treat rosacea with a Yag laser, which is highly effective and treats the rosacea at various levels. In some cases of rosacea, photodynamic therapy will be recommended to decrease the pimples associated with rosacea.
