Perioperative Nurse Coordinator
This individual will serve as the assistant to the ASC Nurse Administrator. The ideal candidate will be able to comfortably supervise and provide effective team leadership to Graystone's ASC staff.
The fast-paced environment of our facility requires a confident individual with the personality and competence to develop effective and collaborative relationships with our ten surgeons and staff.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3-5 years current OR experience in an ophthalmic ASC
• A minimum of 1-2 years Charge RN/Leadership experience
• BLS certified
• Current North Carolina RN license required
• ACLS preferred.

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician
The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician will be responsible for patient work-up prior to physician exam. Must have experience in pre-exam, Visual Fields, Glare testing, tonometry, Refractometry, Keratometry. Additional experience in Photography, OCT, IOL Master, WaveScan, surgery assisting and scribing is a plus.

Surgery Scheduler
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, multi-tasking abilities, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize a large work load. He/she must be committed to creating the best surgical experience for the patient as well as the physician.
This position includes completing and filing surgical paperwork in our NextGen EHR system with accuracy and timeliness. This candidate will always use care to meet the patient's, physician's, and surgical facility's requirements.
This individual must be comfortable presenting advanced IOL lens options and any financial cost associated with those upgraded options. He/she will also further explain the surgical procedure to the patient.
Above all else, this individual must clearly understand the value of excellent patient care, courtesy, and professionalism to be effective in this position.

Previous surgery scheduling experience; High school diploma or equivalent; Previous ophthalmology and NextGen experience a plus.
