Dermal Fillers

Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm Ultra® and Juvederm Ultra Plus®

Dermal fillers are used to correct volume loss, smooth out wrinkles and lines and enhance areas, such as the lips. Various types of fillers are available and Denise Curtis, PA-C, will help determine which filler is the most appropriate for you.

In a non-surgical procedure, Restylane® or Perlane® is injected into the skin to add volume to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds).

Perlane® and Juvederm Ultra Plus® are composed of larger gel particles than Restylane® and Juvederm Ultra® and are intended for deeper injection to volumize skin for correcting deeper wrinkles and folds.

Restylane® and Juvederm Ultra® are derived from natural sources. Hyaluronic acid which is a natural sugar complex found in all living cells and is one of the major components of the skin is the most commonly used source today.

Most fillers last 6 to 9 months with some products lasting up to one year.

Ask any member of Graystone Oculoplastics and Aesthetic Service for more information about Restylane® and Perlane®, or visit restylaneusa.com.
