Macular Degeneration

Macular Degeneration affects millions of older Americans. This condition may be subdivided into two broad categories: wet and dry. While the dry form may only require close monitoring, the wet form often can be treated with a laser, or our newer form of intervention called "photodynamic therapy." Dr. T. Reginald Williams is an expert in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration. He and his staff provide prompt, compassionate, state-of-the-art care for patients affected by this difficult condition. Graystone Eye also offers Low Vision Services to patients requiring special magnification devices as a result of macular degeneration and other eye conditions.
