Missed Appointment Policy
Graystone Eye is committed to accommodating our patients, within reasonable limits, by providing appointment times that can meet individual needs and schedules. Our appointments are limited, as our physician schedules are arranged to provide maximum availability for the best possible care to our patients. We ask our patients to make every attempt to keep their scheduled appointment, or to notify us within 24 hours to cancel or reschedule. Doing so will allow our teams to provide this appointment time to another patient in need of care by our physicians. All patients will sign an acknowledgment of this policy during pre-registration or at check in with a Patient Representative electronically.
- First Missed Appointment – Warning.
- Second Missed Appointment – Appointment scheduling availability will be restricted to 24 hours from the most recent request.
- Third Missed Appointment – Potential dismissal from the practice.
